The 1st STG Doubles Golf Championship is a mixed-gender pairs competition held at Shin-Tamura Golf Course on September 10, 2026. Open to amateur golfers registered with the Japan Golf Association (JGA) who can form a team of two (mixed gender pairs allowed). The event is limited to 44 pairs (88 players) on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee is 7,000 JPY per pair (tax included), payable with the entry form; green fees are paid separately on the day. The competition is an 18-hole four-ball strokeplay (scratch) under JGA rules and local course rules. Each player plays their own ball, and the better score of the pair on each hole counts toward the total. Partners may give advice but cannot play each other's balls. Partner changes are allowed until the day of the event. Entry requires submitting a completed form with payment to the course. Prizes are awarded to 1st through 10th place and for birdie scores, subject to the number of entrants. Men tee from blue tees, women from green tees.

The course rating ranges from 64.1 on the forward tees to 72.9 on the championship setup, providing a scalable challenge for golfers of different skill levels. The design emphasizes strategic shot-making over sheer distance, with a mix of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes. The back nine is anchored by two significant par-5s: the 556-yard 15th hole and the 578-yard 11th hole, which is recommended as a key driving contest hole. The 15th hole serves as the signature par-5 on the back nine, offering a substantial test for long hitters. Conversely, the front nine features shorter, more technical holes, including the 164-yard 14th par-3, which is highlighted as a preferred hole for nearest-pin contests. Obstacles and local rules play a critical role in the course's difficulty. Out of bounds is marked by white stakes, while water hazards and penalty areas are delineated by yellow lines or stakes. The course enforces specific local rules for out-of-bounds shots on the 1st, 15th, and 16th holes, requiring players to tee off from a special forward tee for their fourth shot. Similarly, the 3rd hole features a water hazard that forces players to re-tee from a forward position if their initial drive lands in the water.
