MAKITA 9 is a recurring 9-hole Stableford competition held every Wednesday at Golfclub Radstadt on the 9-hole course. The event is part of the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Union) tournament series. Play is over 9 holes in Stableford format with handicap allowance. Maximum 50 participants. Entry is available online via golf.at or at the GC Radstadt secretariat by 11:00 on the day of the competition (09.09.2026). The entry fee is 13 EUR for adults (including a start gift) plus the green fee, and 7 EUR for children and youth born in or after 2008 (including a start gift) plus the green fee. All amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV or an ÖGV-recognized foreign national association are eligible, provided they hold a World Handicap Index (WHI) of maximum 54. Only results from players who are main members of an Austrian club are included in the ranking. The competition is played under the official Golf Rules of the R&A (including amateur status), ÖGV Handicap Rules, current ÖGV competition regulations for club tournaments, and the course rules approved by GC Radstadt. Ladies tee from red, men from yellow, and players under 12 from red.

GC Radstadt is an 18-hole championship course with a 9-hole Par 3 academy course located in the Tauern region of Austria. The signature feature is the world-unique Birdie-Jet golf gondola, which transports players from the 11th green to the 12th tee.
