MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole individual Stableford competition held at Golfclub Radstadt as part of the ÖGV (Austrian Golf Federation) tournament series. The event takes place every Wednesday throughout the season, with a 16:00 start time. Open to all amateur golfers who are members of an ÖGV-affiliated or recognized foreign national federation golf club and hold a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or lower. Only results from players who are main members of an Austrian club are included in the official ranking. Play follows the official Golf Rules (including amateur status), ÖGV Handicap Rules, current ÖGV competition regulations for club tournaments, and GC Radstadt's approved course rules. Ladies tee from red, men from yellow, and players under 12 from red. Registration is available online or at the GC Radstadt secretariat by Wednesday 11:00 on the day of the tournament. Entry fee is 13 Euro for adults (plus greenfee) and 7 Euro for children and youth born 2008 or later (plus greenfee), both including a start gift.

GC Radstadt is an 18-hole championship course with a 9-hole Par 3 academy course located in the Tauern region of Austria. Situated at elevations up to 996 meters, the course is set against a dramatic Alpine backdrop with views of mountain peaks and the medieval town of Radstadt below. The signature feature is the world-unique Birdie-Jet golf gondola, which transports players from the 11th green to the 12th tee. The 13th hole stands out as particularly notable, positioned at 996 meters with panoramic views across the entire layout and surrounding mountains. The course presents a challenging championship-level layout designed to test skilled golfers. Key characteristics include elevation changes, mountain terrain, and strategic hole design.
