Spark Golf Thursday League

The Spark Golf Thursday League is a 9-hole social golf league held at Deep Cliff Golf Course in Cupertino, CA. The league runs on Thursdays from late May through early September 2026, with rounds starting at 5:00 pm. Entry is open to all golfers — no existing handicap is required, as Spark provides its own handicap system. The entry fee is $40 per round, walking only. Each round features both a team game and an individual game. In the team game, 2-person teams play a net best ball format (betterball) — each player plays their own ball, and the better of the two net scores counts for the team. The individual game is based on each player's net score on their own ball. Players enter scores via the Spark Golf app or mobile website as they play, with a live leaderboard tracking progress. The maximum score per hole is displayed in the app to maintain pace of play. Skins are also available each round, awarded to the individual with the lowest non-tied net score on a hole. Registration for each round closes at noon the day before the round. Each round has a maximum of 12 players.
