The Turkey Shoot is a two-person scramble competition held at Avalon Golf Links on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. The event features gross and net payouts over multiple divisions. Teams that achieve a 'Turkey' (three consecutive birdies) receive an additional payout. Team handicaps are calculated as 35% of the Low course handicap plus 15% of the High course handicap. The field is limited to the first 72 paid teams, with entries closing on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, or when the field is full. Entry fees vary by membership status: Executive Members $40 per player, Associate & Social Members $75 per player, Links Members $85 per player, and Non-Members $95 per player. The entry fee includes a $2,500 prize fund (based on a full field), a light lunch, field prizes, and an optional cash side game. All participants must have a GHIN number to compete.
