The Ball Buster Scramble is a four-person team scramble format tournament held at Avalon Golf Links. The event takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, with a 9:00 am shotgun start. Teams consist of four players, with handicaps calculated per USGA guidelines (max 9 strokes per team). There are gross and net divisions, and teams play 18 holes. Optional forward tees are available for seniors (60 & over) and women. The entry fee is $50 for Executive Members, $85 for Associate & Social Members, $95 for Links Members, and $105 for Non-Members. The field is limited to the first 36 paid teams. Entry includes 18 holes of golf, mid-round soup, beer and beverages, and a prize fund of over $5,000. Cart rental is not included but available by reservation. Entries close on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, or when the field is full.
