The Team Cup Open Competition is an 18-hole strokeplay event held at Kamakura Country Club on September 1, 2026. Teams of 3-4 players compete, with rankings determined by the average net score of the team using the New Peria system with W par cut and a maximum handicap of 36. When net scores are tied, the team with the higher average age ranks higher. Players may place clubs 6 inches in the general area and use one grip on the green. Men play from white tees and women from red tees. The entry fee is 3,300 yen (tax included), which includes a lunch subsidy of 1,500 yen (2nd floor lunch menu only) and one drink. Scores must be entered via Cart Nav; any corrections should be reported to the master room after completing hole 18. Prizes include participation awards, 1st-3rd place awards, men's and women's Bogey Golf awards, and longest drive awards. There is no post-play party. Results and participation awards are presented at the 2nd floor restaurant along with a complimentary drink. Winners' prizes are distributed upon a subsequent visit or by mail within one month of the results announcement. For 3-player teams, an additional 3-ball guarantee fee of ¥3,300 applies. Booking is available by phone to the reservation center (0467-43-1716), with members allowed one group of 3-4 players per person in the month of the event, and general reservations accepted two months prior.

Kamakura Country Club is a sky golf course situated at the summit of Kamakura, featuring a challenging layout that spans 6,176 yards across 18 holes with par 72. The course is designed to utilize natural terrain, incorporating significant elevation changes, slopes, and elevated greens that test players' skills and strategy. The OUT course is particularly demanding, featuring numerous uphill and downhill holes with strategically placed bunkers around the greens. Holes 1 and 4 offer scenic views of Yokohama that align perfectly with target lines. The course presents varied difficulty across all 18 holes, with multiple par 5s, par 4s, and par 3s distributed throughout both the front and back nines. The design emphasizes natural topography, creating a dynamic playing experience with bunkers positioned to challenge approach shots. Multiple tee options (B, R, and F tees) accommodate different skill levels, with yardages ranging from approximately 4,763 to 5,985 yards depending on tee selection. The scenic elevation and mountainous setting of Kamakura provide an exceptional backdrop for play.
