The Conlans BMW / Mini Open Summer Singles is a weekly Wednesday open singles competition for men and women at Castletroy Golf Club, running from April 15th 2026 through October. The event is played as a singles stableford competition. Entry is available online via the club's booking system (visitors.brsgolf.com). The visitor entry fee is €40.00 (members pay €80.00). Handicap certificates are required to enter. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies — denims, shorts, and football/rugby tops are not permitted. Metal spikes are not allowed on the course. Tee times are available from 07:30 onwards. The event is open to all visiting non-member golfers.

Castletroy Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Castletroy, County Limerick, Ireland. The course underwent major redesign by architect Eddie Connaughton and reopened in May 2006, featuring eighteen completely reconstructed tee box and green complexes built to USGA specifications. Set within mature parkland, the course presents varying difficulty levels. The front nine features gentle rolling terrain, while the back nine delivers a more demanding test. Notable holes include the par 3 eleventh, played over water and designed to challenge golfers' nerve. The 14th and 17th holes showcase panoramic views across the entire course. The 16th hole, characterized by fairway bunkering and an elevated green, demands precision from tee to green. The course incorporates fairway bunkering and water features throughout, creating strategic challenges for golfers of all abilities. Practice facilities and buggy rental are available for visitors.
