Open Singles competition for men and women held every Wednesday at Castletroy Golf Club, Limerick. The event runs from mid-April through October each year. Open to visitors and non-members. Players compete individually in a singles format using Stableford scoring. Entry fee for visitors is €40.00 (members €8.00). Handicap certificates are required. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies; metal spikes are not permitted. Entries are made online via the club's booking system.

Castletroy Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Castletroy, County Limerick, Ireland. The course underwent major redesign by architect Eddie Connaughton and reopened in May 2006, featuring eighteen completely reconstructed tee box and green complexes built to USGA specifications. Set within mature parkland, the course presents varying difficulty levels. The front nine features gentle rolling terrain, while the back nine delivers a more demanding test. Notable holes include the par 3 eleventh, played over water and designed to challenge golfers' nerve. The 14th and 17th holes showcase panoramic views across the entire course. The 16th hole, characterized by fairway bunkering and an elevated green, demands precision from tee to green. The course incorporates fairway bunkering and water features throughout, creating strategic challenges for golfers of all abilities. Practice facilities and buggy rental are available for visitors.
