WAGS (Wednesday Afternoon Golf Society) is a 9-hole fun Stableford competition held every Wednesday afternoon between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Alice Springs Golf Club. The event is open to local non-members and visitors of both male and female genders, who are welcome to attend on payment of the standard green fee. Handicaps for the competition are allocated by pro-shop staff on the day, and WAGS handicaps are adjusted commensurate with each week's winnings or losses. This is an individual competition where players compete on their own scorecard using the Stableford scoring system. No prior booking is required; players can arrive and pay at the pro-shop.
