Weekly Dogfights is a recurring weekly 18-hole golf competition held at Cherryville Golf & Country Club. Tee times are Saturday at 9:00 am and Sunday at 12:00 pm (noon). Entry fees are $31 for members and $55 for non-members. The event is open to both members and non-members (visitors welcome). All golfers must be in by 5:15 pm, with last golfers allowed to play 9 holes no later than 3:30 pm before the tournament. The 9-hole Cherryville course features 2,640 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The Cherryville golf course opened in 1948. Sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design, and water hazards come into play on two holes. The course is open to anyone on weekdays, and only to members on the weekends.
