Weekly Dogfights is a weekly individual strokeplay competition held at Cherryville Golf & Country Club. The 18-hole event takes place on Saturdays at 9:00 am and Sundays at 12:00 pm (Noon). The event is open to both members and non-members (visitors). Entry fees are $31 for members and $55 for non-members. A separate 9-hole tournament is held on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm with entry fees of $15 for members and $30 for non-members. Additionally, a 'Weekly Captain's Choice' event is held every Friday at 5:30 pm with entry fees of $20 for members and $25 for non-members. For the Wednesday and Friday events, last golfers playing 9 holes must finish by 3:30 pm, and all golfers must be in by 5:15 pm. Proper golf attire is required, including shirts with sleeves for men (no tank tops) and no sports bras or spaghetti strap tops for women.
