Event Details

Date: Sunday, 23 August 2026

Format: Pairs Strokeplay

Category: Mens

Entry Method: Online

The Men's Calcutta is a two-day tournament held at Marshall Country Club on August 22-23, 2026. This event is Day 2 of the competition. The format is 36 holes of stroke play using Chicago Points (Eagle – 8, Birdie – 4, Par – 2, Bogey – 1, no points for double bogey). Players form two-man teams based on a blind draw pairing high and low handicaps. On Day 1, one best ball counts; on Day 2 (this event), both balls count. Player quotas are determined by subtracting 100% of the player's course handicap (using USGA GHIN) from 39 points. The entry fee is $100 per player ($200 per team). Sign-ups are available in the Pro Shop or online, with an entry deadline of August 17. Additional optional buy-ins include daily skins at $10 per man and a $20 team buy-in for a 'sweetener' pot for most points scored on Day 2. Cash payouts are awarded to top players based on the number of participants. Start time is tentatively 9:00 am.
