A 36-hole medal competition played over two days (Thursday 13th May and Friday 14th May 2027) from the purple tees at South Herts Golf Club. Open to male amateur golfers aged 65 or over on Thursday 14th May 2027, who are members of an affiliated golf club with a maximum handicap index of 18.0 (maximum playing handicap 21). H'cap allowance: 95%. Entry fee is £85.00 for visitors and £65.00 for members. Maximum 72 competitors. Start times for Thursday afternoon are allocated by the club, with Friday morning start times redrawn based on Thursday's gross score. The entry fee includes morning coffee and a bacon roll, plus a two-course lunch on Friday 15th May 2027. Players may order food from the kitchen on Thursday evening. Prize vouchers: £150 for best gross and net scores over 36 holes, £80 for runner-up gross and net scores, and £40 for best morning and afternoon scores (gross and net). Ties are decided by count-back over the last 18, 9, 6, 3, or last holes. Entry closes on Friday 1st May 2027, with signup opening at 9:00 am on 18th January 2027.
