The Peter Metcalfe Open is a men's individual Stableford competition held at Boldon Golf Club. Entry is open to visiting golfers with tee times available from 07:00 to 12:00. The entry fee is £15.00 per player (with a reduced member rate of £5.00). Players are not required to hold an official handicap but must be able to play to an equivalent standard. Those not affiliated with England Golf or iGolf are advised to hold their own personal liability and property damage insurance. Cancellations made more than one week in advance incur no charge; cancellations within one week are charged at 50% of the entry fee, and failure to cancel results in a 100% charge. Bookings are transferable. Smart attire is required on the course and in the clubhouse; denim, cargo/combat trousers, football shorts, tracksuits, and vests are not permitted.
