The Ladies Open Greensomes is a Stableford competition played on Greensomes format (both players tee off, best drive selected, then alternate shots) at Longniddry Golf Course from the Red tees on Tuesday 11th August 2026. Tee times are available from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The entry fee is £30 per couple for visitors (£20 per couple for members; a mixed member/visitor pair pays an additional £5). The Smith Sisters' Trophy, presented by Miss Margaret Smith and Miss Bunty Smith, is awarded to the highest-scoring senior pair (aged 55 and over). Nett and Scratch score prizes are Scottish Golf vouchers. Fundraising on the day is in aid of a local Foodbank. Conditions of entry include online booking opening on Monday 1st December at 10am with payment taken at booking, a maximum playing handicap of 36 (players with a higher handicap may play but must play off 36), and a requirement that prizewinners have a minimum of 3 WHS scores within the preceding 12 months on their Scottish Golf record. Buggies are available on production of evidence of medical need; caddies are not permitted. In the event of a tie, the best last 9, 6, or 3 holes as appropriate will count. No competitor is eligible to win more than one prize. Refunds are given if booking is cancelled more than 72 hours in advance of the event. The decision of the Committee is final.
