Saltburn Golf Club is an 18-hole course situated on Hob Hill near Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North East coast of England. The layout makes strategic use of the hill's natural contours to create challenging holes that test various aspects of play. The course features seven par 4s across the front nine holes, with par 3s at holes 2 and 9, and one par 5 at hole 13 on the opening side. The back nine comprises primarily par 4s and par 5s, with notable par 3s at holes 12 and the signature 18th hole. The setting offers spectacular coastal views overlooking the North Sea, with vistas extending from Huntcliff across Saltburn town towards Teesport's industrial landscape and up to South Shields. Inland views encompass the North York Moors and Roseberry Topping. The par 3s present a particular challenge, with the elevated 18th hole serving as a distinctive finishing hole. The course accommodates all skill levels while maintaining a respectable test of golf, with a welcoming clubhouse providing bar and catering facilities.
