The Mixed Open Greensomes takes place at Turnhouse Golf Club (154 Turnhouse Road, Corstorphine, Edinburgh, EH12 0AD) on 23 August 2026. The competition uses the greensomes format (stroke play), in which both players tee off and the best drive is selected, after which players alternate shots to complete the hole. Open to mixed pairs with handicaps up to 36 for both men and ladies. Golfers holding an open play handicap may enter but are not eligible to win a prize. To be eligible to win a prize, players must have submitted 3 competitive scorecards (totalling 54 holes) within the 12 months prior to the competition date. Entry is via the club's online booking system and is payable at the time of booking.

Turnhouse Golf Club is a James Braid-designed course located on the west side of Edinburgh, near Edinburgh International Airport. The course comprises two loops of nine holes that start and finish in front of the clubhouse, offering a traditional layout. The setting provides excellent views of the Pentland Hills to the south, with Fife and the Ochils visible to the north, situated in an open landscape characteristic of the Lothians region. The club features comprehensive practice facilities including a driving range and short game areas, alongside a PGA Professional.
