The Senior Gents Open Texas Scramble (50+) takes place on 13 August 2026 at Turnhouse Golf Club, Corstorphine, Edinburgh. This is a gents-only open competition for male golfers aged 50 and over. The format is a 4-person Texas Scramble (team format) played from the 1st tee, with strokeplay scoring. The maximum playing handicap is 36 for all open competitions. In order to win a prize, entrants must have submitted a minimum of 3 competitive scorecards (totaling 54 holes) within the 12 months prior to the competition date. Visitors are allowed to enter. Entry is booked and paid for online via the club's BRS booking system. The visitor entry fee is £15.00. Normal golf dress code applies.

Turnhouse Golf Club is a James Braid-designed course located on the west side of Edinburgh, near Edinburgh International Airport. The course comprises two loops of nine holes that start and finish in front of the clubhouse, offering a traditional layout.
