The Somabay World Cup is a qualifying round competition held at UGOLF Rosny-sous-Bois (Golf de Rosny-sous-Bois) on 16 July 2026. The format is individual Stableford over 18 holes on the main course, with staggered tee times starting at 09:00. This round serves as a regional qualifier for the national final and ultimately the international final held in Somabay, Egypt. Competition is open to players in four mixed series by handicap index: 1st series (index below 15), 2nd series (15 to 23.9), 3rd series (24 to 35.9), and 4th series (36 to 54). Entry costs €10 in competition fees per person plus a green fee of €47 (full non-subscriber rate), totalling €57. Online registration is via the Tee1Golf platform (account required). Entry opens 14 February 2026 and closes 15 July 2026.

Golf de Rosny-sous-Bois is a 9-hole course located in an oasis of greenery within the Rosny business park in Seine-Saint-Denis, approximately 4 kilometers from the gates of Paris. Designed by Olivier Brizon and established in 1988, the course features a par 33 layout spanning 1,907 meters, comprising one par 5, four par 4s, and four par 3s. The course is characterized by its strategic design that encourages thoughtful shot selection, making it accessible to both experienced golfers and beginners. The nine holes are magnificently tree-lined, providing an attractive natural setting. The layout's design philosophy allows players of all skill levels to enjoy the course while maintaining a challenge through strategic positioning. Facilities include a 35-post practice range with 15 covered stations, a putting green, and approach zones with bunkers. The course operates year-round with seasonal hours and offers instruction through the UGOLF Academy, including free introductory sessions. A restaurant accommodating up to 80 people and a pro shop are available on-site, along with club and cart rentals.
