The Somabay World Cup qualifying round takes place on 30 July 2026 at UGOLF Rosny-sous-Bois (main course, 18 holes), with staggered tee times from 09:00. The format is individual stableford. This round is one of several weekly qualifying events in a series; the best performers progress to a national final and subsequently an international final held at Somabay, Egypt. Competition is open to all golfers and is divided into four mixed categories: 1st series (Index below 15), 2nd series (Index 15 to 23.9), 3rd series (Index 24 to 35.9), and 4th series (Index 36 to 54). Entry fees are €47 greens fee (non-subscriber full rate) plus €10 competition entry fee, totalling €57 per person. Entry closes on 29 July 2026. Online registration is required via tee1golf.com. A valid golf licence number is required to register.

Golf de Rosny-sous-Bois is a 9-hole course located in an oasis of greenery within the Rosny business park in Seine-Saint-Denis, approximately 4 kilometers from the gates of Paris. Designed by Olivier Brizon and established in 1988, the course features a par 33 layout spanning 1,907 meters, comprising one par 5, four par 4s, and four par 3s. The course is characterized by its strategic design that encourages thoughtful shot selection, making it accessible to both experienced golfers and beginners. The nine holes are magnificently tree-lined, providing an attractive natural setting. The layout's design philosophy allows players of all skill levels to enjoy the course while maintaining a challenge through strategic positioning. Facilities include a 35-post practice range with 15 covered stations, a putting green, and approach zones with bunkers. The course operates year-round with seasonal hours and offers instruction through the UGOLF Academy, including free introductory sessions. A restaurant accommodating up to 80 people and a pro shop are available on-site, along with club and cart rentals.
