The Douglas Wilson Fourball Open is a men's pairs stableford competition held at Sherwood Forest Golf Club (White tees), Mansfield, on Thursday 27 August 2026. Entry is £165.00 per couple for visitors and includes food; players with special dietary requirements should notify the catering team in advance. A CDH (Central Database of Handicaps) number is required for non-members; iGolf handicaps are not accepted. Handicap allowance is 85%. Online booking opens Monday 19 January 2026 at 9:30am and closes at 8:00am on the day of the event. No refund is available within 14 days of the event. Smart casual dress code applies in the Dining Room.

As a championship venue, Sherwood Forest has hosted numerous prestigious national competitions, including the 2006 England Boy's Amateur Stroke Play Championships, British and English Seniors championships, regional Open Championship qualifying, the Brabazon Trophy, and the 2022 McGregor Trophy. The club received the England Golf Championship venue of the year award in 2023, testament to its standing as a premier championship course.
