Ladies' Winter Warmer Open is a 3-lady team Texas Scramble competition held at Market Drayton Golf Club on the Winter Course (Red Tee). The event takes place on Friday 23rd October 2026 with start times from 9:00am to 1:00pm in 10-minute intervals. Entry fee is £30.00 per team. Maximum handicap index is 36.0, with a full handicap allowance of 30%/20%/10% from lowest to highest playing handicap. Each team must include at least one non-Market Drayton member. All entrants must be members of a registered/affiliated golf club with a fully developed active handicap. Meals are not included. Online entry is available via the club's intelligentgolf system, or by post with a cheque payable to the Ladies Section. Signup closes at midnight on 23/10/2026.

Market Drayton Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course established in 1906, located one mile outside Market Drayton in rural Shropshire. The course features notable elevation changes that provide spectacular views across the surrounding countryside landscape. The course is characterized by excellent drainage, allowing play during winter months when many other courses close seasonally. A temporary green is currently in use on the 8th hole. The club benefits from its peaceful, secluded setting within the Shropshire countryside while maintaining accessible facilities for both members and visitors.
