The Irish Open is a four-round Individual Stableford event held at Carton House (Omea and Montgomery courses) and The K Club (North Ryder Cup Course) from 19 to 22 May 2027. The event includes three nights accommodation and four rounds of golf. Open to all amateur golfers, male and female, who are members of a golf club with a current WHS Handicap Index. Maximum playing handicaps are 24 for men and 30 for ladies. Play is in three or fourballs at 95% of Course Handicap. Closing date for entries is 19 April 2027. Entry fee is currently to be confirmed.

The Global Amateur Golf Tour is a series of professionally organised events which provide an opportunity for amateur club golfers to play competitively in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere on some of the most renowned championship courses in the UK and around the world. Since its launch in 1997 the Tour has visited 5 different continents and 23 different countries from the West Coast of the USA to Japan in the East and from Sweden to Australia. The Tour has multiple orders of merit. The Global OoM, the Senior OoM for golfers of 60+, the ladies OoM and the gross OoM all of which include every event on the schedule. The UK OoM which includes those events in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and the International OoM which includes events outside the UK. Competitors can qualify via the OoMs for the annual Tour Final which is staged at a prestigious venue over 3/4 rounds.
