Royal County Down Golf Trip

Tour: Proper Golfer

Rounds: 3

The Proper Golf Series operates as a nationwide golfing platform in the UK that organizes competitive golf events and international golf trips open to golfers of all abilities. Run by Steven Appleton, the series provides year-round competitive opportunities through both Winter and Summer series events, featuring competitions at prestigious golf courses across the UK, Europe, and worldwide destinations. Each event offers prize opportunities for top finishers (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), nearest the pin competitions, and optional 2's clubs, with winners receiving Proper Golf Series glassware trophies. The series operates an Order of Merit system where participants accumulate points throughout the season, with overall winners receiving overseas golf holiday prizes. The platform specializes in organizing exclusive golf trips and events to premium destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the Algarve in Portugal, Turkey, Scotland, and Spain's Camiral Golf Resort (host venue for the 2031 Ryder Cup). Trip packages typically include multiple nights' accommodation, championship golf rounds, and all-inclusive options at various resorts. Featured UK venues include Royal Lytham St Annes and Trump International Golf Links. The series operates in partnership with Par5Escapes and sponsors including Scottsdale Golf, Golf Genius for tournament management, and Pomfret Brewery. Individual golfers are welcome to enter events, making the platform accessible for those without regular playing partners. The Proper Golf Series emphasizes creating opportunities for golfers to play bucket-list courses, meet fellow golf enthusiasts, and enjoy organized competitive golf experiences throughout the year while being supported by comprehensive customer service from the event organizer.
