The Real Federación Española de Golf (RFEG) serves as the national governing body for golf in Spain rather than operating as a competitive amateur tour. The RFEG offers the Ruta 365 initiative, which promotes year-round golf across more than 220 courses nationwide with accessible tournaments and special playing opportunities. Members access competition registration, handicap tracking, and activity records through the official RFEG smartphone application. The federation emphasises rules education, player development programs, and maintains competitive integrity through its various technical committees while enforcing USGA Rules of Golf across all sanctioned competitions.
