Development programs include the "9 Semanas & 1/2" (9 Weeks & 1/2) beginner course offered at clubs nationwide, providing accessible entry into golf through structured group lessons over approximately two months. The federation manages both professional and amateur national team selections, operates a coaching certification system for academies, and provides comprehensive handicap services including online score submission and course rating systems. Members registered through clubs or individual online registration gain access to handicap tracking, competition entry, insurance coverage, and member benefits throughout Portugal's network of golf courses.
