Farmstead Golf & Country Club is a 27-hole golf course located in Sussex County, New Jersey, offering beautiful scenery and challenging golf in Northwest New Jersey for the past 56 years. Approximately an hour outside New York City, Farmstead offers top quality golf, stunning surroundings, delicious food and a caring staff. The course features three distinct nine-hole layouts designed by Byron Phoebus, each with unique characteristics. Clubview, the original nine holes, offers a traditional mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s, with straight-away holes requiring accurate tee shots through mature tree-lined fairways. Lakeview is a 3,310-yard, par-35 course where water comes into play on 6 holes, many of which are doglegs. The Valleyview nine is a 2,851-yard, par-34 course and the shortest of the bunch, featuring a narrowing design with small undulating greens. Water is a significant hazard on the Lakeview nine, with none more challenging than the closing hole, a very short but very intimidating par 3 over water. The Valleyview nine is the most difficult course at Farmstead, featuring small greens, tree-lined fairways, hilly terrain and out of bounds on seven of nine holes, designed by Byron Phoebus and opened in 1979.

Designed by renowned golf architect Perry Maxwell, the course is still an original Perry Maxwell design and is rich in Arkansas history.
