From the longest tees it presents 6,510 yards of golf for a par of 73, with a course rating of 72.4 and a slope rating of 124. The scenic course is renowned for its mature trees, rolling hills, and meticulously maintained greens. There are water hazards on the course and 31-40 sand bunkers located on the course. Villa Olivia is a public golf course, making it accessible to the general golfing public year-round.

Villa Roma Golf Course was designed by Lindsay Ervin and David Postlewaite and opened in 1986 as an 18-hole course designed as a Par 71, 6,499 yard course for experts and 6,200-6,350 yards for beginners, young golfers and women. The course rating is 70.9 and it has a slope rating of 124. The resort course is nestled in the Catskill Mountains and is surrounded by scenic scenery, located in Callicoon, NY, part of the Catskill Mountains. The front 9 is very generous off the tee but the greens must be read properly with its undulations, while the back nine is longer and more challenging, but rewards solidly struck shots. The longest hole on the course is #11, a par-5 that plays to 545 yards, the shortest hole is #7, a par-3 that plays to 171 yards from the back tees, and #3 is a 533-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. Villa Roma Golf Course has Bent grass greens and Bent grass fairways. Villa Roma Resort Golf Course Golf Club has an onsite driving range with 5 practice tees.

Village Green Golf Course in Mundelein, Illinois, was opened in 1962 and designed by Ray Didier, the former superintendent of Tam O'Shanter during its tournament-hosting heyday. The course includes water hazards from two ponds affecting up to five holes in a straightforward parkland-style design. Most holes run parallel to each other, with homes bordering the southern edge. Ray Didier's design focused on challenging playability, and for many years Village Green was a staple of the central Lake County golf scene. Ownership changed hands when the Mundelein School District bought the land in 2004 for $8.4 million for possible school expansion, but the anticipated enrollment boom never happened, making it quite possibly the only course in the country owned by a high school.
