Solmoro CC

경기도

Solmoro Country Club is a 36-hole facility located in Ganam-eup, Yeosu, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The course is divided into two distinct nine-hole loops: the Cherry and Persimmon courses, which are characterized by strategic demands and elevation changes, and the Pine and Maple courses, which offer a more forgiving layout for average golfers. The entire complex spans 13,852 yards with a combined par of 143. The design was executed by Shin Design Institute and Field Consultant, with construction handled by Hanjin Heavy Industries. The Cherry and Persimmon loops are designed for players seeking a challenge, featuring significant undulations and strategic hazards. The Cherry course includes a demanding par-4 first hole with a water hazard guarding the front of the green, and a par-4 eighth hole that plays downhill with a blind second shot. The Persimmon course is anchored by the facility's longest par-3, which stretches across the landscape with a mound guarding the front. Other notable holes on this loop include a narrow par-4 fourth hole where the fairway is flanked by out-of-bounds, and a long, slightly uphill par-4 eighth hole that serves as the longest scoring opportunity on the nine. The Pine and Maple courses provide a contrasting experience, focusing on accuracy and course management. The Pine course features an island green on its par-3 sixth hole and a scenic par-3 eighth hole surrounded by a waterfall and water hazards. The Maple course is home to the longest hole on the property, a par-5 fifth hole that requires precise second-shot placement to avoid fairway bunkers. Both loops utilize out-of-bounds areas and deep rough to penalize wayward shots, particularly on the dogleg holes where visibility is often restricted by trees and terrain.

A refreshment gazebo was added in 2002, positioned on a central hilltop between the 9th and 10th holes. The facility includes a clubhouse completed in 1996 with a pro shop, bar and grill, banquet facilities, and an outdoor pavilion.
