Shenendoah Golf Course

Shenendoah is an 18-hole championship golf course with a par of 72, stretching over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Designed by renowned golf instructor Rick Smith and completed in 2000, the course underwent a major redesign in 2016 that added seven new holes and reimagined the routing. Located at Turning Stone Resort Casino near Verona in upstate New York, the course sits on varied, rolling terrain and is maintained to Audubon International standards for environmental conservation. The course features diverse hole styles including wooded parkland areas, open pasture holes with a links feel, and low-country style layouts. Players encounter numerous challenges including 75 bunkers, forced carries over water and waste areas, wetland hazards, and elevation changes. The course can accommodate golfers of all skill levels, with tees offering different distances and angles to suit various abilities. Shenendoah hosted the 2006 PGA Professional Championship and is recognized for its beautiful scenery, wonderful routing, and spectacular playing conditions. Notable design features include signature holes such as the scenic 14th, a 168-yard par 3 played over water with a rocky wall and multiple bunkers protecting the green. The Creek Course at Shenvalee is a picturesque 9-hole course with Smith Creek winding throughout. The 9-hole Creek course at the Shenvalee Golf Resort facility in New Market, features 3,272 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Designed by Edmund B. Ault, ASGCA, the Creek golf course opened in 1963. The course has two Par 5, four Par 4 and three Par 3 holes and is the longest of the three 9-hole choices. Watch out for a local favorite #5, "The Chute Hole." The course has a slope rating of 119. Open since March of 1963, Shepherd Hills operates as a public daily-fee course. Some of the fairways are tree lined, and all of them are bordered by a standard cut of rough. The course accommodates golfers of varying skill levels and is available for tournaments, outings, and casual play. Amenities include dining facilities and outdoor entertainment areas on the property.

Shepparton Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located on Golf Drive in Shepparton, Victoria, designed by golf course architect Sam Berriman and opened in 1959. The course was developed across approximately 88 acres of Crown land combined with purchased adjoining properties, situated on the right-hand sandbank of the Goulburn River, approximately two and a half miles from town.
