Saddleworth Golf Club is an 18-hole course designed by renowned architect Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1913, built on the foundation of a 9-hole layout established in 1904. Located in Uppermill on Mountain Ash, Ladcastle Road, the course commands panoramic views of the Pennines and surrounding Saddleworth villages across moorland terrain. The layout has matured over more than 100 years into what is considered the finest course in the area. Saffron Walden Golf Club is an 18-hole course set in the picturesque surroundings of Audley End's famous mansion in Essex, with superb views over the historic market town of Saffron Walden. The layout is described as a thinking course that rewards strategic play rather than aggressive driving, with challenging greens that become particularly difficult when pins are positioned tucked away. The course features several notable holes. The par-3 5th is the signature hole, played from an elevated tee offering excellent views towards Audley End House. Other standout par-3s include the 7th with its pot bunker and the 11th featuring a very narrow green. The par-4 13th requires a draw off the tee and presents a challenging approach to a ridge-crossed green. The 18th, a par-3 finishing hole, is considered a strong closing hole. The course is not overly long but presents significant challenge through its design and green complexity. The club also offers a 140-person capacity clubhouse with bar and catering facilities, along with conference and function rooms overlooking the 18th green.

Sag Harbor State Golf Course is a 48.8-acre, 9-hole golf facility located in the town of East Hampton in Suffolk County, New York. Situated on a peninsula and surrounded by woodlands, bluffs and wetlands, the course may be played as nine or 18 holes. The course features 2,475 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course first opened in 1926 and was run by a group of volunteers for over half a century. The property was acquired by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in 1989 and taken over by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in 1997. The most distinguishing feature is the small size of the greens, requiring pinpoint accurate approach shots for a chance to shoot par, and the greens tend to run fast. The seventh hole is the only par-5 on the course, a straight shot under 400 yards.

Water hazards appear on the IN course, particularly around holes 12 and 18. The course demands accurate distance control, as numerous elevated greens and severe slopes around putting surfaces penalize wayward approaches. Strategic bunkering at approximately 150-250 yards from tees provides additional challenge for various skill levels.
