Located in the Hirano district of Osaka's Higashiyodogawa ward, Yodogawa Golf Club is a 12-hole public short course situated on the flat terrain of the Yodogawa riverbed. Opened in 1949, the facility is the only public short course within Osaka city limits, offering a compact layout that typically takes between 90 minutes and two hours to complete. The course features Bermuda grass greens and includes a dedicated putting practice area for players to warm up before their round. The course layout is designed for speed and accessibility, with a total yardage of 1,366 yards from the back tees and a par of 35. The front tees reduce the total distance to 1,025 yards, making the course particularly suitable for juniors, seniors, and beginners. The par breakdown includes nine par-3 holes, two par-2 holes, and one par-4, the latter being the 11th hole which measures 255 yards from the back tees. While the flat terrain and short distances make the course easy to navigate, the undulating greens provide enough challenge for advanced players. The facility operates as a self-play course with free pull carts available, and it enforces specific club restrictions, such as limiting male players to four woods or less and female players to a single wood. The course is open year-round without a designated day off, catering to a wide range of golfers looking for a quick and convenient round in the city.
