Wyncote Golf Course

Course Information Unclaimed

Wyncote Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course with a par of 72 and a length of 7,148 yards, featuring bent grass greens and fairways, built in 1993 and designed by architect Brian Ault. Located in Oxford, Pennsylvania, nearly an hour-and-a-half from Philadelphia, the course is situated in agricultural surroundings that provide an idyllic atmosphere. The "heathlands" style course was inspired by heathland design principles, laid out by award-winning architect Brian Ault.

The course challenges players with mounded bunkers, tall native grasses, wetland carries, and windy rises that demand creativity and thoughtful shot-making. The front nine is especially tough, with mounded bunkers and moguls defining fairway movement, sidehill lies and blind shots present throughout, while the lightning-fast greens challenge players of all skill levels despite having little undulation. At just over 7,000 yards from the back tees, multiple tee options on every hole allow the course to challenge good players while remaining enjoyable for everyone, with big greens and smart bunkering rewarding creativity over power.

Wyncote has been consistently ranked among the best public golf courses in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region, earning accolades from Golf Digest, Golfweek, and Zagat. The course holds a Golf Digest rating of 4.5 stars in Places to Play.
