World of Golf

World of Golf is a golf and family leisure park located in Johannesburg's Waterfall area, spanning 18 hectares. Rather than a traditional championship course, it functions as South Africa's leading golfing theme park and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere. The facility features a nine-hole wedge and putt course designed for skill testing and casual play, where visitors can attempt to beat Gary Player's course record of four-under.

The venue includes eight specialized practice areas themed as "worlds," each designed to develop specific aspects of the game, including putting, pitching, bunker play, and target practice. The landscape accommodates over 200,000 golf balls in circulation with approximately 60 million balls hit annually across the facility.

World of Golf caters to multiple user groups: beginners can access daily coaching sessions and free masterclasses, while experienced golfers can refine their skills with specialists. Beyond golf, the facility offers a 2,000-square-meter children's play area, the Dimples Café with 280 seats, and services including fitness facilities and spa amenities. The venue operates seven days a week and serves as a venue for corporate team building events and private functions, positioning itself as a comprehensive family and leisure destination centered around golf.
