Originally opened as Windy Hill Country Club in 1954, Tiger Pointe Golf & Event Center is set against a scenic backdrop of steep, rolling hills, and for seven decades has built a rich legacy of excellence in both golf and as a center for community events and entertainment in Greencastle and throughout Putnam County and the surrounding Indianapolis area. The 9-hole course features 2805 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 34 and it has a slope rating of 114. The course has plenty of mature trees and elevation changes, with bends and twists in fairways requiring precise, but not long, tee shots. This course has hilly terrain and the wind can be a factor in scoring well. The signature hole is #8, a 175-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a small, elevated green. Each hole has 3 teeing areas to accommodate golfers of all abilities, with fourteen bunkers and multiple water hazards adding to the challenge of the course.
