Windmill Lakes Golf Club

Windmill Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Ravenna, Ohio, approximately 20 miles east of Akron. The course features rolling hills with scenic views and is characterized by large, undulating greens that are fast and true. The layout includes more than 50 bunkers and six lakes throughout the property, creating a visually striking setting.

The course design emphasizes challenge through its par-four holes, with only two par-five holes on the layout. This composition tests golfers of all skill levels, particularly through difficult mid-length holes. The strategic use of water hazards and bunkers adds complexity to the routing.

Windmill Lakes has earned recognition as one of Ohio's best golf courses and received the 2011 Golf Course of the Year award from the National Golf Course Owners Association. Since opening, the club has hosted numerous amateur and professional tournaments, establishing itself as a respected venue in the region. The facility also offers a practice range, pro shop, instruction programs, and accommodations for outings and banquets.
