Willow Wood Golf Course

Willow Wood Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course opened in 1998, located three miles south of downtown Portland, Michigan, approximately 40 minutes from Grand Rapids. Designed by golf course architect J. John Gorney, the course is carved from rolling hills and mature woodlands, featuring natural elements including creeks, wetlands, ponds, and expansive meadows with pronounced elevation changes throughout.

The layout showcases a diverse, naturally beautiful terrain that provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. The course is known for its scenic qualities, particularly at sunset, with gently contoured fairways that take advantage of the landscape's topography. Beyond the main course, Willow Wood offers a driving range and practice green for skill development, along with an indoor golf simulator equipped with TrackMan radar technology for shot analysis and progression tracking. The facility also includes a clubhouse with dining options, positioning it as a comprehensive golf destination rather than just a course.
