The WildeWood Club was designed by Russell Breeden and opened in 1976, built on over 160 acres with no parallel fairways as the course unfolds through the rolling terrain of the Sandhills in Columbia, South Carolina. The 18-hole course features 6,751 yards from the longest tees for a par of 70. Each hole is framed by oak and pine trees on Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens and Bermuda fairways.

The golf course layout is fair yet challenging for all players, with excellent course conditions. The course has a slope rating of 132. The private facility is situated in Northeast Columbia and serves as a neighborhood club featuring a full clubhouse, driving range, and putting green. In 2019, a group of resident investors purchased The WildeWood Club with the vision of creating a community-based club.
