Wild Rock Golf Club at The Wilderness

Wild Rock Golf Club is located in Wisconsin Dells and features a championship-level course distinguished by its unique topography centered around an old stone quarry. The quarry's rocky mounds and dramatic elevation changes create an almost desert-course aesthetic, providing significant visual interest and challenging conditions. The course underwent a major green restoration project beginning in fall 2025, with nearly 10,000 square feet of fresh sod installed to restore it to championship standards.

The clubhouse, reminiscent of a woodland lodge, received recognition from Golf Inc. magazine with a 2nd place national design award for "Best New Clubhouse." The architecture emphasizes rustic simplicity through massive log beams, vaulted ceilings, and framed views of the surrounding landscape. The facility offers 18 holes of golf with GPS-equipped golf carts and includes practice facilities. The course serves as part of The Wilderness Resort complex in Wisconsin Dells, accommodating both daily play and group outings with various pass options available throughout the season.
