Wilcox Oaks Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located on 120 acres of gently rolling oak woodlands north of Red Bluff in Northern California's Sacramento Valley. The course has a rich history dating to the early 1920s when Grant Wilcox and golf enthusiasts began play on unwatered fairways and sand greens, originally nicknamed the "Sticker Patch." The first nine holes were developed after irrigation was introduced in the late 1950s, with the full 18-hole layout completed in 1977. The course is set within scenic oak woodland terrain characteristic of the Shasta Cascade region, offering both challenge and accessibility to golfers of varying skill levels. As a private club established in 1958, Wilcox Oaks has continued to enhance its facilities and maintain its standing as a recreational value in the region. The course features an event center and dining facilities, serving as both a golf destination and social hub for its membership community.
