Whitepath Golf Course

Whitepath Golf Club is a public golf course located 5 miles north of Ellijay, Georgia, in the North Georgia foothills approximately 1.5 hours from Atlanta. Designed by Rocky Roquemore and Joe Lee, the course features rolling terrain with scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Cohutta Wilderness. Water hazards include the 8-acre Whitepath Lake, the Ellijay River, and several creeks and ponds distributed throughout the layout.

The course is designed to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels, offering challenge for low-handicap players while remaining accessible to higher-handicap golfers. It features small, fast bent grass greens that are meticulously maintained. The course's picturesque setting combines mountainous landscape with well-maintained playing surfaces, creating an enjoyable experience for visiting golfers and those planning outings in the area. The club hosts tournaments and operates a ladies golf league.
