Whitefields Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in Rugby, Warwickshire, set in the heart of the English countryside. Opened in 1992, the course measures 6,289 yards with a par of 71, presenting a testing challenge for golfers of all handicaps. The layout features excellent all-weather drainage, allowing play throughout difficult conditions.
The course's most striking characteristic is Draycote Water, a lake that borders the 13th hole and provides scenic views year-round. The signature hole is "Curlie's Corner," a demanding 184-yard par 3 where the green is completely surrounded by water, requiring precision from the medal tees. The 15th hole, "Temptation," is another standout featureāa 257-yard par 4 with water flanking both sides, demanding both accuracy and length off the tee.
Whitefields has hosted numerous championships throughout its history. The facility includes a 16-bay driving range, practice chipping and bunker areas, and an 18-hole putting green. Adjacent Draycote Hotel provides accommodation and dining facilities, making the course suitable for golf breaks, society days, and corporate events. The course welcomes golfers of all abilities from across Warwickshire and beyond.
