The White River Golf Course, designed by Peter McGowan, opened in 1972. The 9-hole course features 2,635 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 34, with a course rating of 32.8 and a slope rating of 115. Located along Route 100 just south of Rochester, Vermont, the course is laid out along the White River in a valley with beautiful views.

The course is very flat and easily walkable, though the layout is deceiving and can play very difficult, with a premium on accuracy. The river runs around the course, adding a distinctive natural feature to the layout. The course is maintained in excellent shape with perfect greens.

Players can enjoy the course as a regular layout or as a par 3 course, with a fun layout and great greens. The facility offers multiple tees for each hole to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. The course features a Chinese restaurant on site.
