Whispering Pines Golf Course

Whispering Pines Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in rural St. Joseph County on the outskirts of Walkerton, Indiana. Situated on 110 acres of slightly rolling terrain, the course is designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. While not exceptionally long, making it accessible to beginners and senior players, the course presents genuine challenges for advanced golfers, with errant shots potentially leaving difficult recovery opportunities from any position.

The facility operates year-round, weather permitting, and emphasizes a welcoming, blue-collar atmosphere. In addition to daily play, Whispering Pines hosts outings for corporate groups, churches, schools, and fundraising events, along with a men's club and Thursday night leagues. The course features a pro shop, practice putting green, snack bar, and dining room, plus an outdoor pavilion with picnic facilities.
