Whirlwind Golf Course

Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass is located south of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in the Sierra Estrella Mountains foothills of Chandler, Arizona. The facility features 36 holes across two award-winning courses: Devil's Claw and Cattail, both designed by Gary Panks and consistently ranked among Arizona's Best You Can Play.

The courses showcase the natural Gila River landscape with native vegetation including cottonwood, mesquite, saguaro, and palo verde trees, complemented by rolling terrain and uncluttered views. The design sensitively preserves the cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community while incorporating desert canyons carved by ancient rivers.

Whirlwind serves as the proud host venue for the LPGA's Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, establishing it as a significant tournament destination.
