Wekiva Golf Club

Opened in 1972, Wekiva Golf Club is an established 18-hole course located in Longwood, Florida, within a populated residential community. The par 72 layout measures 6,850 yards and was crafted from a wooded setting featuring mature oaks, pines, and palms. The course design includes many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees with no parallel fairways, creating a distinctive character throughout play.

The course is well-bunkered with over 80 strategically placed bunkers, rolling fairways, and gentle mounding that highlights both fairways and undulating greens. Water comes into play on three holes. In 2012, Wekiva reconstructed its greens using Champions Bermuda grass, known for smooth and quick putting surfaces.

The straightforward layout accommodates both recreational golfers and low-handicappers. As a semi-private club welcoming outside play, Wekiva operates under a "Member For A Day" philosophy emphasizing consistent service and accessibility. The facility includes a grill room and offers junior golf programs, making it a comprehensive golf destination in the Central Florida area.
