Waukon Golf & Country Club is located in scenic Northeast Iowa near the Mississippi River and Yellow River Forest in Waukon. Established in 1923, the course provides a challenging test of golf suitable for players of all skill levels, offering a fair and playable experience for average and novice golfers while presenting a good challenge for advanced players.

The club maintains exceptionally manicured grounds and superb playing conditions. The course features water hazards, including notable water features on holes #2 and #6, with specific local rules governing play around these obstacles. Players must observe a 30-foot distance from greens with golf carts and are required to follow standard golf etiquette including fixing ball marks, replacing divots, and raking bunkers.

The facility operates with seasonal hours and offers both 9-hole and 18-hole play options. Non-member green fees range from $17-$25 for 9 holes and $21-$29 for 18 holes depending on the day. The club hosts regular league play, senior golf on Tuesdays, couples league during June, and high school golf and cross country meets. A clubhouse is available for events and rentals.
