Warkworth Golf Club is a seaside links course designed by Old Tom Morris in 1891, located on the Northumberland coastline. The course features 9 greens with 18 tees, providing varied challenges across different holes. The layout utilizes different tee positions between summer and winter seasons, with the winter course (October to March) employing alternative, more difficult locations. The setting offers stunning views of the Northumberland countryside, coastline, Warkworth Castle, Carr Rocks, and Coquet Island.

A notable environmental feature includes a large pond behind the first green, created as part of a wetland bird habitat development. The course is exceptionally playable year-round due to its proximity to the North Sea, with regular greens maintained throughout winter. The course is rated for handicapping purposes, with summer white medal tees at SSS 70 and yellow tees at SSS 68, while the winter course rates SSS 68. The combination of coastal exposure, varied terrain, and dual tee system creates a testing yet scenic golfing experience.
