Wago Golf Club is located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. It features an 18-hole short course with a total length of 1360 yards. The course is designed to challenge golfers with a variety of short-range shots and precise approach play. Each hole presents unique difficulties, with yardages ranging from 57 to 107 yards, and handicaps are assigned to reflect the relative difficulty of each hole.

The layout includes a mix of uphill tee shots and greens with significant slopes. The second hole is a 57-yard uphill shot where the green is not visible from the tee, requiring players to avoid a bamboo grove on the left. The fourth hole, at 65 yards, is also an uphill shot with a hard green that is difficult to stop, especially when approaching from the left rear. The first hole, at 107 yards, requires a low tee shot to avoid a net 22 meters away and 8 meters high, with a green that slopes strongly from left to right. Greens on the course often have strong biases and slopes, requiring careful reading of the grass grain. The third hole, at 77 yards, features a steep slope in front of the green and a back-green that is faster from the rear. The right side of the green slopes strongly towards the next tee.

These characteristics make the course a test of accuracy and distance control, rather than power. The course is open year-round, with operating hours from 5:00 AM until sunset, and the last acceptance at 5:00 PM. It is accessible to individual players as well as groups. The short course format, combined with the challenging green complexes and varied hole designs, makes Wago Golf Club a unique destination for golfers looking to refine their short game and precision shot-making.
